Year-End 2019 Savannah Industrial Market Report

Savannah’s economy continues to flourish and experience stability in tourism, employment and port activity. Looking back on the 2010 decade, 2019 posted the strongest year for annual net absorption at 6.3M SF occupied. This compares to the 1.9M SF occupied in year 2010. While 2019 did not show the lowest vacancy rate of the decade, the Savannah industrial market has seen impressive vacancy stats throughout the past 10 years, beginning 2010 at 23.7% vacant and ending at 4.6%.
