The Port of Savannah continues its momentum as the fastest-growing container port in TEU (twenty-foot equivalent unit) volume. Consequently, development and investor interest continues to increase at a rapid pace. In the last two years, Savannah added over 15 million square feet (MSF) of new facilities to the market. As of April 2021, CoStar reported an additional 12 MSF currently under construction, one of the highest square footages in the nation with only 15% preleased.
