September 28, 2020 (Atlanta, GA) – Lee & Associates - Atlanta is pleased to represent a fund managed by a subsidiary of Ares Management Corporation, which acquired Black Creek Group’s U.S. real estate investment advisory and distribution business on July 1, 2021, on the purchase of a 30.2-acre tract off Wilkerson Mill Road and Highway 29 in the I-85 South submarket of metro Atlanta, Georgia. Located in the City of Palmetto, in Fulton County, the site is 3.5 miles to the CSX Fairburn Intermodal facility and 15.6 miles to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  The project and its future tenant(s) may benefit from very favorable incentives.  Additionally, the future occupant may benefit from the Less Developed Census Tract status which provides very favorable tax credits to companies bringing new jobs to the State of Georgia and also the Fulton County revenue for bond title programs which abates a portion of property taxes over 10 years.
