Midtown Development Update Fall 2019

Fortune 500 companies, global law firms, and coworking giants are all calling Midtown Atlanta home, special thanks to Midtown’s booming office development market. Using CoStar Group analytics, Midtown had not seen any new office development activity pre Q1 2018. At the beginning of Q1 2019, Midtown had an explosive 1,487,652 SF under construction. Today, there is 3,566,262 SF under construction. That is a 139% increase! While activity in Midtown remains strong, time will tell if the demand will keep up with the anticipated speculative deliveries.
