Watson brings a niche specialty in the disposition, acquisition, and exchange of self-storage facilities across the Gulf South to the firm. He has worked with investors on small-scale self-storage properties, as well as large-scale sites with over 500 units.

“One of my goals in opening this office was to build a team of talented professionals uniquely equipped to deliver service and value to our clients,” said Evan Scroggs, SIOR, CCIM, President of Lee & Associates Baton Rouge. “Will brings a unique expertise to the Company and is a rising star in the industry. He has done an excellent job of sourcing and structuring deals and cultivating a loyal client base.  We look forward to watching his growth as he leverages the tools and resources Lee & Associates has to offer.”

Watson earned a B.S. in Agricultural Resource Economics from the University of Maryland while pursuing his collegiate baseball career. Particularly intriguing, and what ultimately led him to real estate, was his extensive studies in land economics and market trends that influence property values. This passion led him back to Louisiana where he began a real estate career at NAI Latter & Blum.

Lorando comes with a strong sales and multifamily background, spending the last two years in sales for international tech firms and six years before that in the commercial real estate industry. Lorando received his Masters in Commercial Property (MiCP) from the Lipsey School of Real Estate and will begin pursuing other professional designations related to commercial real estate.

“Alex brings a combination of industry knowledge and experience to Lee & Associates and is a welcomed addition to our team.” Scoggs continued with “a background in multifamily sales and acquisitions, Alex will play a critical role in developing that line of business within our company.”

McGee comes over from Commercial Properties where he served as a development associate. Tom graduated from Louisiana State University in the spring of 2022 with a degree in accounting.

“Tom is the type of young broker we want to continue to attract to our company. Highly competent, excellent communication skills, a natural problem solver, and a willingness to work and learn," said Scroggs.
