Columbus Office Of Lee & Associates Hires New Broker
June 15, 2021 (Columbus, OH) – Lee & Associates, the largest broker-owned commercial real estate firm in North America, announced today the addition of Joseph Smiley as Senior Vice President of the Columbus, Ohio office.
Mr. Smiley is a well-established commercial real estate professional with over 35 years of brokerage, consulting and development experience on a wide variety of projects. Residing in Columbus, Joe serves as a consultant for multiple national and international clients such as McDonald’s and Chipotle.

Prior to joining Lee & Associates, Joe was the President of his own company, Land Strategies, which he formed in 2005. Throughout his 16 years as President, Mr. Smiley has served as a consultant and developer on both commercial, residential and city developments. He provides clients assistance with comprehensive site analysis, brokerage and the entire development services spectrum including the entitlement and zoning process.
Smiley began his career with Kenneth Danter & Company in Columbus in 1984. He has also been employed by Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation, McDonald’s Corporation and Weis Markets during his career.
