CAREER SUMMARY
Frank Phillips is a dedicated professional with a diverse career spanning over three decades. A native of Whitmire, SC, Frank embarked on his journey of service and leadership with the United States Air Force in July 1993. As an Aircraft Armament Systems Specialist, he honed his skills and expertise through assignments in various locations worldwide, including Germany, Turkey, Korea, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Alaska. His 21-year tenure in the Air Force saw him excel in multiple roles, from performing munitions loading/unloading operations and maintaining the F-16 Fighting Falcon's weapons release system to instructing advanced maintenance and troubleshooting techniques as a Field Training Detachment instructor. Frank culminated his military career as Commandant of the Pitsenbarger Airman Leadership School in Spangdahlem AB, Germany, where he led a team of instructors in developing future Air Force leaders.
After retiring from the Air Force in 2014, Frank transitioned to civilian life, bringing his leadership and technical skills to various industries. He owned and operated Phillips and Son’s Landscaping from 2014 to 2016, then served as an officer with the South Carolina State Transportation Police from 2016 to 2018. In 2018, Frank joined Butler Associates Land Surveying, where he worked as a team crew chief, performing survey fieldwork, deed and title research, and CAD drafting until 2024.
Frank's commitment to his community is evident through his involvement in various local organizations. He resides in Campobello, SC, with his wife, Jennifer, and their son, Jayden. Frank enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including hunting, fishing, golf, and SCUBA diving, and cherishes time spent with family and friends.
