A new restaurant has opened its doors in Fairview after taking more than 1,700 square feet at a neighborhood shopping center, in a deal arranged by Lee & Associates New Jersey.

The business, El Primo Mexican Restaurant, occupies space at 175 Broad Ave. under a lease with Vail Development LLC. Lee & Associates’ Josh Krantz represented both parties in the long-term, 1,737-square-foot lease, which brings the roughly 15,000-square-foot Valley Plaza Shopping Center to 100 percent occupancy.

“This family-owned and -operated eatery is a great addition to Valley Plaza’s tenant mix,” said Krantz, a senior vice president with the firm. “The neighborhood shopping center’s ideal location in a heavily trafficked area — right on the corner of Fairview and Broad Avenue/Route 9 — were major factors in El Primo’s decision to commit there.”
