A boutique hotel in Cary that’s faced troubles may have a potential buyer.
New filings in the bankruptcy case of the The Mayton Inn’s owner reveal an $8.1 million offer made by a company known as Academy Park Hospitality. While filings show the inn’s parent company, known in court documents as Memento Mori, “has had productive discussions with several potential buyers,” Academy’s offer is the highest so far.
