Local developer plans commercial park in Fuquay-Varina

A Fuquay-Varina developer has plans to bring a new professional park to town calling for a collection of commercial buildings north of downtown.
Earlier this year, an LLC managed by area dentist Don Lane filed plans to develop the Lane Professional Park, featuring 61,780 square feet of commercial space across six buildings in Fuquay-Varina.
The project is situated on 7.4 acres at 1800 N. Broad St., north of downtown and across the street from a Sheetz gas station.
Lane’s LLC shares an address and phone number with his dental practice Lane & Associates Family Dentistry. Lane bought the property in 2016 for $1.15 million from seller Ashford Commercial LLC.
Plans filed with the town call for two-story buildings at sizes from 5,200 to 22,000 square feet.
