October 3, 2023, Carlsbad, CA – Lee & Associates, a nationwide leader in commercial real estate services, and the Lee Land Team, announce the sale of coastal land at the northern gateway of the Leucadia neighborhood of Encinitas.

 

The 1.43 acre property, located on the NEC of La Costa Ave and N Coast Hwy 101 in Encinitas, CA, sold for $6,000,000.  Al Apuzzo, Matt Weaver, and Alex Bentley represented the seller, Surfer’s Point, LLC.

 

The property sold to the City of Encinitas who was represented by Peter Curry of Cushman & Wakefield. There are currently no plans for future development and the buyer intends to hold the site as a community asset.  Previous proposed plans included a 25-unit timeshare project.
