Lee & Associates – North San Diego County Completes $1.8 Million Sale of Vacant Land in La Costa Meadows
SAN MARCOS, CA—March 17, 2016— Lee & Associates, one of the largest national commercial real estate providers with regional expertise, has completed the acquisition of a 2.59 acre development opportunity in La Costa Meadows. The vacant land parcel, which sold for $1,800,000, is located on Opal Street in San Marcos, California and can be seen from Melrose Drive.
Al Apuzzo, Marko Dragovic, Isaac Little, and Matt Weaver of Lee & Associates – North San Diego County represented the buyer, Hunter Industries, who purchased the property with plans to build a 48,000 square-foot manufacturing facility. Hunter Industries, a family owned company, is a global leader and manufacturer of irrigation, landscape lighting, and custom manufacturing products doing business in 125 countries across the world.
“This is an ideal expansion opportunity for Hunter Industries,” explained Dragovic. “The property’s zoning for light industrial usage and prime location, near the intersection of Melrose Drive and Diamond Street, are an excellent fit for a new manufacturing facility.”
“Hunter Industries presented the seller with an all cash offer and we were able to close escrow on the property after only 90 days,” he added.
The seller, a private trust, was represented by Kidder Matthews.
