60,000 SF State-of-the-Art Industrial Facility for PODS Completed in Desert Hot Springs, CA

Desert Hot Springs, CA – October 29, 2024 - Team Nicholls Martinez is thrilled to announce the completion of a new, state-of-the-art 60,000 square-foot industrial facility for PODS, strategically located on a 3-acre site at the corner of 19th Avenue and Calle de Los Romos, just north of I-10. This custom, Class-A build-to-suit project is designed to support PODS’ expanding operations with cutting-edge capabilities, setting a new standard for industrial facilities in the region.

Located directly across the street from Amazon’s new 1,000,000 square-foot facility, which is currently under construction on the north side of I-10 at Indian Canyon, this facility strengthens the industrial landscape of Desert Hot Springs and supports the region’s rapid growth as a logistics hub.

This successful POD’s development was made possible by the collaborative efforts of the Snider Company and the City of Desert Hot Springs. We extend our sincere gratitude to the city’s Mayor, government officials, members of the Chamber of Commerce, City Council, and Planning and Development departments, whose support and vision were instrumental in bringing this project to life.

A special thanks goes to The Snider Company (thesnidercompany.com), including David Snider, Mar Snider-Gudim, and Liam Snider, for their leadership and dedication in delivering another exemplary build-to-suit project. Mar’s expertise was pivotal in expediting design, entitlement, and permitting, allowing us to streamline the process and achieve this milestone in record time. We are grateful to have her on our team and to work alongside such an exceptional group.

We would also like to extend a special acknowledgment to Keith Kropfl, at Avison Young, for his role in securing PODS as our valued tenant.

We look forward to future opportunities in Desert Hot Springs, especially as we continue our collaboration with The Snider Company on the adjacent 65 acres for additional potential build-to-suit developments that can potentially support more than 500,000 SF.

Congratulations to PODS on this remarkable achievement and thank you to all involved for making this vision a reality.
