MIAMI, Florida—November 8, 2021— Lee & Associates South Florida continues to bolster its team of talented brokers. In the latest example, veteran broker Matthew Katzen joined the firm as Senior Vice President specializing in office leasing.

In his new role, Katzen focuses on landlord agency and tenant representation of Class A office space in Miami-Dade and Broward counties. With more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Katzen’s business development and transactional work includes the negotiation of more than 2 million square feet of office space in 500-plus transactions.

Katzen’s specialties include working closely with office developers in the implementation, design, marketing, and sales and leasing of professional office projects, along with extensive tenant representation experience helping office users successfully negotiate complex leasing terms to secure competitive office space.

Prior to joining Lee & Associates South Florida, Katzen served as Director of Office Leasing for the Galman Group, which holds a portfolio of more than 50 properties and 10,000 apartments throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. He also was Director of Leasing at Pennsylvania-based Heritage Commercial Group, overseeing the office leasing, marketing and development of more than 1 million square feet of office space and a portfolio of 19 properties.

Katzen is a graduate of University of Massachusetts with a bachelor’s degree in Management and a licensed real estate salesperson in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Having relocated to South Florida to expand his services into the Southeast U.S., Katzen is able to leverage the national Lee network and his northeast relationships to facilitate strong cross-market support for his clients.
