Eight key players in the state’s commercial real estate sector will take the stage in early November as part of NAIOP New Jersey’s annual President’s Awards and Hall of Fame Dinner.
The organization last week announced its slate of honorees for the popular program, scheduled for Nov. 7 at the Hilton Meadowlands in East Rutherford. They include:
- Legacy Award: Geoffrey L. Schubert, partner, Lee & Associates New Jersey
- Pillar Award: Jesse Harty, senior vice president, Prologis
- Advocacy Award: Emily M. Lamond, Cole Schotz PC
- Volunteer of the Year Award: Joseph M. Galley, vice president, GZA GeoEnvironmental Inc.
- Rising Star Award: Levi Kelman, CEO, Blue Onyx Cos.
In addition, NAIOP New Jersey will induct industry icons and longtime chapter members Edwin H. Cohen of Prism Capital Partners LLC, Scott K. Perkins of NAI James E. Hanson and Gretchen S. Wilcox of G.S. Wilcox & Co. into its Hall of Fame.
“We are acknowledging these leaders for having contributed their time, knowledge and energy to advance our association and New Jersey’s commercial real estate development industry,” said NAIOP New Jersey’s president, Gus Milano of Hartz Mountain Industries. “The President’s Awards are our way of thanking them for their selfless and tireless work, which is especially meaningful at a time when the industry is facing challenges on numerous fronts.”
The program will also feature the presentation of the Frank D. Visceglia Memorial Scholarships to outstanding Eagle and Gold Award Scouts. Networking and cocktails begin at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the awards presentation at 5:45 p.m.
